To light, place kindling such as wood shavings, pine cones needles or small pieces of tree bark on top and inside of a log. Once the tinder starts to burn, the hot embers drop down into the log, igniting the inside. Modern day lighting one would use lighter fluid, or fire starter blocks.<\/p>\n<p>Make a Fire Torch Log! Take a good size log, chain saw down 6-10 inches 2-3 times as shown and prepare a fire on top.
