Cedar Trees are resilient. Cedar Tree forest shown here are growing 50 to 80 feet high off the ledge of an rock escarpment dropping of 150 feet. Cedars are an evergreen tree, meaning that cedars do not drop leaves in winter. The grove of cedars below helps protect the escarpment from hard wind and rains all year round.
