The Pine and Spruce Trees were plentiful in the early settler days so cut barn board boards were used to clad the exteriors of barns, sheds and houses. Many structures are in need of repair today.
Pine Trees are large tall 100 foot + high trees which provided the timber trade lots of wood resources to cut wide planks suitable for siding accessory buildings, drive sheds and the fabrication of doors.
