This wood fence is a basic style with 2 horizontal rails and does the job of preventing pier walkers from falling over the edge. What’s good about the simple design is that the 4 x4 posts are rotated with the edge facing up leaving no flat areas for water to sit and rot the wood. Angled sides shed water quickly off the wood contributing to longer life for this rail fence!
